Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien received support from the Relief Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province of 10 billion VND.

On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Chairman Do Van Chien received the following donations: The Ministry of Transport donated 4 billion VND; the Relief Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province donated 10 billion VND; Huawei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. donated 1 billion VND; Vietnam Engineering and Technology Corporation (Intech Group) donated 200 million VND; the Guard Command - Ministry of Public Security donated 500 million VND; ROX Group Joint Stock Company donated 500 million VND; the Vietnamese community in Ufa city, Bashkortostan (Russia) donated 300 million VND; the Vietnam Veterans' Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs donated 2 billion VND; Family Technology Co., Ltd. and all staff donated 1.055 billion VND; Ho Chi Minh City Food and Foodstuff Association (FFA) donated food and necessities worth 1 billion VND; Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (Huba) donated food and necessities worth VND200 million; Power Generation Corporation 1 donated VND500 million; Thien Khoi Group donated VND300 million; Nha Trang Salanganes Nest Joint Stock Company donated 30,000 cans of bird's nest drink; Thuy Anh Fruit Company Ltd. donated VND300 million; Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security donated VND393 million; Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company donated VND500 million; officers and employees of the Association for Supporting Families of Vietnamese Martyrs donated VND30 million; Son Dong soft-shelled turtle restaurant chain donated VND50 million; Vietnam Pentecostal Evangelical Church donated VND100 million; Vietnamese community in Kansai region donated VND202 million; Sakai Company - Laos donated VND100 million.

Respectfully acknowledging and expressing gratitude for the kindness, noble acts, encouragement and support for our people to overcome the disaster, Chairman Do Van Chien shared that in response to the call of General Secretary and President To Lam, with the spirit of providing the "highest and fastest" support for people affected by storms and floods and the call of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, in recent days, many agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals at home and abroad have come to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to express their feelings and contribute resources to support the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.

Chairman Do Van Chien said that the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will use the donated funds for the right purposes, effectively, and allocate them promptly, openly, transparently, and in accordance with the law so that the received money reaches the people of the provinces heavily affected by storms and floods as quickly as possible; at the same time, the great solidarity house at 46 Trang Thi, Hanoi will always welcome individuals and organizations to donate all days of the week and without days off.

Chairman Do Van Chien said that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has initially announced a list of organizations and individuals supporting people affected by storm No. 3 in Vietcombank bank accounts from September 1, 2024 to September 10, 2024 for the whole society and people to monitor. In the spirit of transparency, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee will continue to announce a list of bank transfers and direct cash donations at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front so that people know how their feelings and money are used.

Emphasizing that when the storm passes, a lot of support resources will be needed to help people stabilize their lives soon, Chairman Do Van Chien hopes that in the coming time, agencies, businesses, organizations, groups, individuals in the country and overseas Vietnamese, foreigners working and living in Vietnam will continue to spread the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", each person will share and help spiritually and materially, contributing with the Party and State to quickly restore production and people's lives.
