Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Dinh Vinh exchanged information on the activities of enterprises in Hai Phong city. In recent times, Hai Phong city in general and the Department of Science and Technology in particular have had many cooperative activities with countries in the region and the world . Every year, the Department has organized technology supply and demand connection sessions between enterprises in the city and foreign enterprises. He hopes that in the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong will be the focal point connecting with BOI to help enterprises of the two countries have the opportunity to meet, exchange, and seek cooperation opportunities in key areas such as information technology, electronics industry, etc. through technology supply and demand connection sessions, seminars, and Techfest sessions in person or online.

Hai Phong synchronously deploys many solutions to promote digital transformation in many fields.
Also at the meeting, the Minister Counselor of the BOI of Thailand, Ms. Tidapan Sursattyawong, introduced the main activities of the BOI such as: Promoting foreign investment, providing information, support and incentives for investors, legal advice, administrative procedures as well as managing projects encouraged by the BOI. The BOI also focuses on promoting high-value industries such as semiconductor design, information technology, electronics industry, food processing industry, and others.
Within the framework of the working session, delegates discussed and exchanged to seek opportunities for in-depth cooperation between the two units in the following activities: research; connecting supply and demand, technology transfer; promoting innovation activities; coordinating the organization of investment cooperation events; organizing delegations to study experiences between Vietnam and Thailand; participating in science and technology events of both sides. The working session is a premise to open up cooperation opportunities for Hai Phong enterprises in particular, and the whole country in general with Thai partners./.
