Meeting to review draft Resolutions submitted to the first thematic session of the Provincial People's Council

Accordingly, the Committee has examined the draft Resolution on approving the Project to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Development Investment Fund on the basis of merging the Vinh Long Provincial Development Investment Fund and the Tra Vinh Provincial Development Investment Fund; the draft Resolution Approving the policy to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund on the basis of merging the Tra Vinh Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund and the Vinh Long Provincial Cooperative Development Support Fund; the draft Resolution approving the Project to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Farmer Support Fund on the basis of merging the Vinh Long Provincial Farmer Support Fund, the Tra Vinh Provincial Farmer Support Fund and the Ben Tre Provincial Farmer Support Fund; the draft Resolution on Regulations on the support mechanism for implementing social housing construction investment projects in Vinh Long province; the draft Resolution on promulgating the Regulations on the content and expenditure levels for performing science and technology tasks in Vinh Long province.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates basically agreed with the content of the draft resolution. At the same time, to ensure the quality of the draft resolutions, delegates requested the drafting agency to explain and clarify a number of contents such as: legal documents, implementation processes, related procedures for the establishment of funds; constraints to ensure the personnel structure of funds; support according to the investment phase of social housing construction projects, etc.

Based on the opinions discussed by delegates at the meeting, the Economic-Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the drafting agency, relevant departments, branches and units to continue studying, editing, supplementing and perfecting the draft resolutions to submit at the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.
