Meeting to deploy fireworks display tasks on National Day September 2

- On the morning of August 29, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Fireworks Steering Committee to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

According to the plan, the fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) is expected to start at 9:30 p.m. on September 2, 2025, lasting 15 minutes with 90 low-altitude fireworks displays at Dong Kinh Bridge, Dong Kinh Ward. The fireworks display will combine sound and light.

At the meeting, delegates from departments, branches and units discussed and contributed opinions on preparation work, transportation, technical loading and unloading, location of fireworks display sites; fire prevention and fighting work; security and order, traffic diversion plan; information and propaganda work; healthcare ; lighting; environmental sanitation, urban beautification, etc.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station to do a good job of informing and propagating to the people about the significance of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the plan to organize a fireworks display to celebrate.

He emphasized: The organization and fireworks display must ensure absolute safety; relevant units need to continue to conduct field inspections to develop plans to ensure safety and fire prevention; relevant agencies coordinate to do a good job of preparation. In particular, the Provincial Military Command needs to perform well the tasks of the presiding agency; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism develops an art program; the Provincial Police do a good job of ensuring political security, social order and safety, traffic flow before, during and after the event, paying special attention to fire prevention and fighting; the Department of Construction coordinates with the Provincial Military Command to ensure structural safety for Dong Kinh Bridge, and renovate public areas in the wards.

During the program, delegates agreed to ban vehicles from crossing Dong Kinh Bridge from 7am to 11pm on September 2 to ensure safety during the fireworks display.
