After being established on the basis of merging the three provinces of Dak Nong, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong, the new Lam Dong province immediately began to carry out the dual task of operating the two-level local government organization and preparing to organize the commune-level party congress. Despite many difficulties and challenges, in the initial stage, the province achieved certain results.
According to the assessment, the operation of the two-level local government apparatus is a new and unprecedented task, with both advantages and difficulties. However, with the spirit of solidarity and determination of all levels, sectors and localities, up to now, the workload is ensuring progress and being strongly implemented. The socio -economy has developed. National defense and security have been maintained. The organization of the apparatus has been improved, improving effectiveness and efficiency.
By the end of July, Lam Dong ranked 4th in the country in digitalizing public administration. People's trust in the new government apparatus has been increasingly strengthened. The good news is that many communes, wards, and special zones in the province have gradually overcome difficulties, creating motivation for cadres, civil servants, and public employees to carry out difficult and new tasks, and move forward together. Communes, wards, special zones, the entire political system and administrative system have operated in the direction of innovating the apparatus, improving the quality of governance and scientific management, limiting intermediaries, eliminating overlapping functions, being close to the people, serving the people better.
For example, in Thuan An commune, up to now, the commune has basically completed the arrangement and consolidation of the organizational apparatus to ensure smooth operation. From July 1 to August 14, the Commune Public Administration Service Center received 650 records, of which 590 records were resolved. "Cadres, civil servants and public employees are always united, upholding the spirit and responsibility in performing assigned tasks with the motto "working until the end of the day", all for the people, taking the people as the center", said Secretary of the Thuan An Commune Party Committee Le Van Hoang.
In the Quang Truc border area, the Commune Party Committee proactively followed the Central's policies and the province's instructions to comprehensively lead the implementation in all areas. The commune promptly consolidated its organization and stabilized its apparatus. The socio-economy remained basically stable; 15/19 new rural criteria were completed. Administrative procedures were resolved on schedule and according to regulations... Currently, communes, wards, and special zones have developed action programs and organized dissemination, propaganda, and brought the local congress resolutions into life. This is an important premise to prepare for the Provincial Party Congress scheduled to take place in October 2025.
Speaking at a working session with the Party Committees of some communes in the West of the province, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the results achieved by the localities in the past time are clear evidence of the flexibility and determination in the direction and management of the Party Committees and the government; at the same time, it demonstrates the solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties and strive of all cadres, Party members, civil servants and workers. The initial results not only create trust among the people but also lay a solid foundation for the province to enter the second phase of the process of arranging and operating the apparatus with a more determined and stronger spirit.
Each cadre and party member must be a shining example of ethics, lifestyle, working style, dedication to work, and closeness to the people. For communes, wards, and special economic zones, in addition to solving many important and important tasks, it is necessary to retain a team of cadres and civil servants with capacity to work. Encouraging cadres and civil servants to overcome difficulties and continue to stay in the system, promote their capacity to perform their tasks, and serve the people needs to be focused on.

Talking with former provincial leaders living in the Western region, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam informed that Lam Dong is currently entering the second phase of the revolution in streamlining and streamlining the organizational apparatus, moving from the state of “running and lining up” to “straight lines, clear paths, unanimously moving forward”, reaching the future. This means that the province has shaped the path, but to achieve “straight lines, clear paths” requires the consensus, joint efforts and determination of the entire political system and the entire population.
The Provincial Party Secretary also shared the difficulties of the staff, civil servants, public employees and workers after the merger. The change in accommodation, food and work location will initially be unfamiliar, especially in the context of a new government model, new working environment, new apparatus, new people, new jobs, and even a larger workload. Therefore, more than ever, each staff, civil servant and worker must be united, highly determined and make great efforts to accompany the province in the next stages.
Currently, many localities have not yet unified their headquarters, and still work and live at different facilities. Unity in thought and action, with the goal of being close to the people, for the people, and putting the interests of the people first, must be valued by cadres, civil servants, and public employees, especially the leadership team.
Solidarity is also a consistent direction that the Provincial Party Secretary requires the Party Committees of the communes to implement. Working with the Party Committee of Thuan An commune, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam requested: "The commune needs to strengthen solidarity, unity, and join hands to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the commune for the term 2025 - 2030 to achieve the highest results".
Working with Quang Truc commune, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the Party Committee and the commune government need to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, efforts, political determination, focusing on overcoming limitations and difficulties to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress.
Speaking at the key staff conference, comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam emphasized that the operation of the new model still has many challenges ahead, and the tasks are still heavy. To successfully complete the set goals, it is necessary to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity and discipline.
