Meeting to organize the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people in Hai Phong city in 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of March 19, the Department of Culture and Sports held a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People of Hai Phong City in 2024. Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports , Pham Thi To Trang, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of the leaders of the Department, sectors, branches and related units.

The 2024 Olympic Run for Public Health is jointly organized by the Department of Culture and Sports and the Hai Phong City Youth Union. This is a practical activity to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Sports Industry (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2024) and the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024).
According to the plan, the 2024 Olympic Run for Public Health includes 65 groups of participants (21 people each group), opening at 7:30 a.m. on March 24, 2024 at the City Theater Square and the city center strip. The route of the 2024 Olympic Run for Public Health: Starting from the City Theater Square - Quan Hoa - Tran Phu Street - Dien Bien Phu Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - City Theater Square.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports - Head of the Organizing Committee Pham Thi To Trang stated: The Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People in 2024 is organized to mobilize the masses of people to participate in physical exercise and sports, responding to the Campaign "The whole people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho in the period of 2020 - 2030" and the movement "Healthy to start a business and protect the country" among the city's youth, contributing to improving health to serve study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland. The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports requested units to seriously implement the progress of the assigned tasks according to the plan, paying special attention to medical work, arranging parking lots, and traffic flow so that the Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People in 2024 takes place safely and successfully.
