(GLO)- On the morning of June 29, at the 15/9 Hall, Chu Prong District Youth Union coordinated with the District Police and Toan Trung One Member Co., Ltd. to organize drug prevention and control propaganda in 2023; train road traffic safety knowledge and safe driving skills in 2023 for 200 union members and youth from 16 commune and town unions.

At the program, officers of the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team (Chu Prong District Police) disseminated to union members and young people basic contents on drug prevention and control such as: concept of drugs; harmful effects of drugs; how to identify current types of drugs; preventive measures...

Along with that, instructing the union members of Toan Trung One Member Co., Ltd. to inform about the traffic accident situation, causes and consequences caused by traffic accidents; equipping union members and young people with some knowledge and skills for safe driving such as: Instructions on checking helmets to ensure quality, how to wear helmets properly; how to check brakes and vehicle lights safely before participating in traffic. In addition, organizing union members and young people to participate in quiz games with prizes and practice skills of balancing on narrow boards.
The program is organized to contribute to raising the vigilance of union members and young people in drug prevention and control as well as raising awareness of law compliance when participating in traffic. Thereby, promoting the pioneering and voluntary role of union members and young people in participating in maintaining order and traffic safety in the area; raising awareness of law compliance, building a traffic culture for union members and young people, especially ethnic minority youth, contributing to minimizing traffic accidents in the area.
