On the morning of April 24, the Tan Chau Town Military Command opened the 2025 militia and self-defense training course.

The training course was conducted over 12 days, including the following contents: Militia and self-defense forces in building a national defense to protect the Fatherland of Vietnam in the new situation; building and protecting territorial sovereignty and national borders; the economic, political , cultural, social, defense and security situation of localities and organizations. Militia and self-defense forces are also trained in specialized fields (air defense, artillery, engineering, information, reconnaissance, chemical defense, medicine, etc.).

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Gau (Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Tan Chau Town Military Command, Head of the training course organizing committee) requested soldiers to study seriously, strictly follow the regulations of the class, and strictly abide by military discipline and state laws. At the same time, they must master combat techniques in civil defense, improve combat readiness, especially coordinate with relevant forces to maintain political security and social order and safety in the locality.
