Instructions for entering and exiting 6 intersections on 2 new expressways in Ha Tinh

According to the plan, the main route of the two expressways Bai Vot - Ham Nghi and Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, nearly 90km long, through Ha Tinh will be put into operation from April 28. The operation of these two expressways will reduce the pressure on current traffic routes in Ha Tinh, meet the travel needs of people during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, and open up development opportunities for localities in the province.

According to the approved design documents, the expressway through Ha Tinh is arranged with 6 interchanges, connecting with local roads. Ha Tinh residents can enter and exit the interchanges through these 6 interchanges. Ha Tinh Newspaper informs about 6 interchanges connecting the expressway in the direction of travel from North to South.

The first intersection is the intersection connecting the expressway with National Highway 8 in Thanh Binh Thinh Commune, Duc Tho District. This intersection is the connection point of Dien Chau - Bai Vot Expressway with Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway. From National Highway 8, drivers move to the intersection following the signs.

Next, depending on the journey, the driver chooses the appropriate direction, in which the left lane joins the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi highway to move to the South of Ha Tinh; the right lane joins the Dien Chau - Bai Vot highway to go to the Northern provinces and cities.

During the process of moving into the intersection, choosing the direction of travel until entering the lane, drivers need to observe and comply with traffic signs installed on the route.

The second intersection is the expressway intersection with Provincial Road 548 in the old Trung Loc commune, now Dong Loc town, Can Loc district. Drivers can enter the intersection from Provincial Road 548.

Currently, on provincial road 548, the contractor has installed signs indicating directions and directions for drivers to clearly understand.

At the intersection with Provincial Road 548 in Dong Loc town, there are 2 entrances/exits to the highway in 2 directions, from the North and from the South.

From this intersection, people can move to the highway and go to Dong Loc T-junction relic site, Huong Tich pagoda of Can Loc district..., following provincial road 548.

The third intersection is the highway intersection with Provincial Road 550 in Luu Vinh Son Commune, Thach Ha District. This is considered the most important intersection when connecting the highway with Ha Tinh City, Thach Ha District and neighboring areas.

According to the design, drivers can move to this intersection via 3 traffic routes including Provincial Road 550 (old Provincial Road 3); Ngo Quyen Street - Provincial Road 550 and Provincial Road 550 - extended Ham Nghi Street.

However, because two routes: Ngo Quyen Street - Provincial Road 550 and Provincial Road 550 - Ham Nghi Street extension are under construction (opened to traffic on June 30), from April 28 to June 30, drivers will enter and exit the highway via Provincial Road 550.

The area of the expressway intersection with provincial road 550 in Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district has also been basically completed. The contractor is urgently installing traffic signs, painting road markings, assigning people to guide and direct traffic.

The fourth intersection on the expressway through Ha Tinh is the expressway intersection with the connecting road to National Highway 1 in Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district.

At this time, the 3.2km connecting route from National Highway 1 to the expressway interchange has completed over 90% of the volume, ensuring the movement of vehicles in and out of the expressway.

From the intersection in Cam Quan commune, people from provinces and cities across the country can shorten the distance and time when reaching Cam Xuyen district with tourist destinations, scenic spots, historical relics such as Thien Cam beach, Ke Go lake...

For Cam Xuyen residents, from National Highway 1 running along the 3.2km extension route, to the intersection, they can enter the expressway to go North or South more conveniently.

Next is the expressway intersection with district road 91 in Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district. The expressway through Ky Anh district has 2 on-off intersections, one located on National Highway 12C in Ky Tan commune and the other in Ky Trung commune via district road 91.

Compared to the intersection on National Highway 12C, the 8.1km-long expressway intersection with District Road 91 will connect the expressway with National Highway 1 and the center of Ky Anh district more conveniently.

At the intersection of the expressway with district road 91 in Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district, the contractor has basically completed the items, installed signs, painted road markings, installed hard dividers..., ensuring traffic circulation.

Meanwhile, the North-South expressway interchange with National Highway 12C in Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district has also been completed.

The intersection in Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district is the connecting point of Ham Nghi - Vung Ang expressway with Vung Ang - Bung expressway. However, because Vung Ang - Bung expressway has not been opened to traffic yet, at this time, people who want to travel to Quang Binh and the southern provinces need to go to the intersection, move along National Highway 1 or National Highway 1 avoiding Ky Anh town.

From National Highway 12C, people in Ky Anh district and Ky Anh town can enter and exit the North-South Expressway through the intersection. Traffic participants traveling on the highway who want to go to Ky Anh town, including Vung Ang Economic Zone or enjoy Vung Ang jumping squid also go through this intersection.

The entrance to the Vung Ang - Bung highway is closed, instead there are signs to the highway interchange.

When entering/exiting highway intersections, drivers must strictly comply with traffic regulations and rules according to the traffic sign system installed on the route, from speed, direction of travel, and lanes.
