The amount of rain measured at automatic measuring stations was very high in some places, such as Hop Chau at 68.2mm and Chau Loc at 35mm.

Forecasting and warning of risks

It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, Nghe An province will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall from 20-40mm, some places may be over 50mm.

Warnings of effects and recommendations

The meteorological agency warns that flash floods could damage transport and irrigation works, and cause loss of life and property. Heavy rains could also cause localized flooding on some roads.

People in warning areas need to pay special attention, proactively take measures to protect their property and find safe shelter when bad situations occur.
