National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired the question and answer session, and Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai moderated the question and answer session.

At the Thua Thien Hue bridge, there were National Assembly deputies: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Truong Luu; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Suu; Director of Hue Central Hospital Pham Nhu Hiep.

In the group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development , delegates asked Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan to clarify the content related to rice land planning; solutions to create links between production and consumption of agricultural products; solutions to ensure national food security; solutions to manage fishing vessels in a unified manner according to the requirements of IUU fishing; synchronization in removing yellow cards; policies that will be applied in supporting the conversion of seafood exploitation professions that affect the ecological environment; solutions to support funding in cases where livestock must be destroyed due to disease...

In the question and answer session, Minister Le Minh Hoan analyzed many issues such as chain linkage to increase the value of agricultural products; planning rice land to ensure food security; climate change, market fluctuations and changes in consumption trends affecting Vietnam's agriculture; the issue of strict enforcement of regulations, including regulations in the Fisheries Law...

Speaking at the end of the question and answer session on agriculture and rural development, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai said that 26 delegates questioned, 3 delegates debated; some delegates questioned related to the responsibilities of the Ministers of Industry and Trade, Health, and Finance. The remaining 20 delegates had questions but due to time constraints, delegates were asked to send their questions to be answered in writing.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai affirmed that the question and answer session was lively, responsible, frank and constructive. The Standing Committee of the National Assembly highly appreciated the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development for preparing the content well, focusing on answering the issues that the National Assembly deputies were interested in; explaining quite fully, responsibly and receptively about the issues related to the existing problems and limitations; at the same time, acknowledging the Minister's efforts in proposing solutions to overcome the shortcomings within the scope of responsibility when answering the questions of the National Assembly deputies. The Minister of Industry and Trade also spoke to clarify a number of related contents.

Concluding the question and answer session, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that after a day of urgent, serious, democratic, intellectual, and highly responsible work, the question and answer session ended successfully.

The National Assembly Chairman acknowledged that the National Assembly deputies, based on their working experience, had carefully prepared quality questions that closely reflected the reality, life and aspirations of voters; fully implemented regulations on the way of questioning, exchanging and debating, and ensuring the prescribed time. The Ministers and heads of sectors participating in the questioning, with a high sense of responsibility, firmly grasping the current situation of their sectors and fields, explained and clarified the current situation and proposed many solutions to the questions. The National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly deputies highly appreciated the questioning, agreed and acknowledged the solutions and commitments at this questioning session.

From the issues raised, the National Assembly Chairman requested the Government, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and relevant Ministers and Heads of sectors to fully absorb the opinions of National Assembly deputies and resolutely direct the implementation of proposed solutions to overcome existing shortcomings and limitations.

The National Assembly Chairman pointed out that, from the questions of National Assembly deputies, many existing and pressing issues in society have been promptly considered and resolved; many policies and guidelines have been issued, making important contributions to the country's socio-economic development process, ensuring social security.

Through questioning activities, it also helps to detect shortcomings and limitations in the law enforcement process as well as enhance the responsibility of Ministers in finding solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings; continuing to affirm that this is a very effective form of supervision of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.

The National Assembly Chairman expressed his belief that, with the solutions committed by the Ministers, with the high determination of the Government, the accompaniment of the National Assembly and National Assembly deputies, the management field under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice will have many clear changes, reaching new heights, becoming more substantial; the agricultural sector will overcome difficulties and challenges, continue to be a solid support for the economy, creating an important foundation and premise to move towards modern agriculture, international integration and adaptation to climate change.
