Phu Luong District Youth Union launched summer volunteer campaign

On May 23, at Yen Trach commune, Phu Luong District Youth Union organized the program "Launching the summer volunteer campaign" in 2025, with the theme of Phu Luong Youth volunteering for community life.

Phu Luong District Youth Union, Women's Union, Young Pioneers' Council and Red Cross Society of Phu Luong High School donated funds and supported the construction of a Red Scarf House for Duong Thao Vy, class 6B, Phu Luong Secondary School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students.

At the Program, Phu Luong District Youth Union coordinated with the Women's Union, the Young Pioneers' Association and the Red Cross of Phu Luong High School to donate funds and support the construction of a Red Scarf House for Duong Thao Vy, class 6B, a disadvantaged student of Phu Luong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. KFHI (a Korean non-governmental organization supporting volunteer activities in the fields of education , community development, vocational training and child protection) and Yen Trach Commune Youth Union supported the construction of a youth project "Route to light up the countryside" in Khau Du and Dong Quoc hamlets with 30 solar-powered light bulbs. The District Fatherland Front Committee, Phu Luong District Youth Union and Yen Trach Commune presented 10 bicycles and 45 fans to disadvantaged students in the commune. The total value of the projects and gifts presented at the program was 120 million VND.

Also at the program, the Youth Volunteer Club to propagate drowning prevention for children in Yen Trach commune was launched to strengthen propaganda work, raise awareness and skills to prevent drowning for children during the summer.

The District Fatherland Front Committee, Phu Luong District Youth Union and Yen Trach Commune donated 45 fans to disadvantaged students in the area.

In 2025, implementing the direction of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Phu Luong District Youth Union deployed the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign focusing on activities such as: Building new rural areas, urban civilization; social security activities, propaganda against drowning, fire prevention and fighting and digital transformation application... In which, major campaigns include: Program "Supporting exam season"; Campaign "Green Summer"; Volunteer campaign "Red Flamboyant"; Campaign "Green March"...
