Huynh Anh "caught in a love triangle" with Le Bong and Minh Thu on Vietnamese primetime drama

Huynh Anh, Le Bong and Minh Thu teamed up for the first time and created a love triangle in a primetime Vietnamese drama on VTV.

The story of a tragic love triangle of young people, with hidden identities for many years, will be in the 40 episodes of the film Missed Appointment with Green Day.

The film revolves around three main characters: Duyen (Tiktoker Le Bong), Hiep (Huynh Anh) and Giang (Minh Thu). All three are architects with the desire to create their dream buildings. Difficulties in their personal lives and obstacles in their careers have pushed the characters to different choices.

The film marks the return of director Tran Hoai Son (White Collar, Last Sunshine, Transition) after many years of absence.

His career aspirations and concerns are expressed by a young cast of actors who have made their mark such as Huynh Anh, Minh Thu or completely new faces with VTV dramas such as Xuan Anh (Le Bong), Thanh Tuan...

The director shared: "In this film, we want to bring the story of young people. They have a passion for architecture, their aspirations in life and the emotional relationships between the three main characters. We hope that the story of a young person who wants to fulfill his dream can inspire the TV audience."

After Black Pharma, Huynh Anh returned to VTV's small screen and continued to play the male lead role. Huynh Anh said that this was the first time he collaborated with director Tran Hoai Son and co-starred with Le Bong and Minh Thu. The new crew brought him energy, helping him have a lot of inspiration during his work.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter about the role of Hiep, Huynh Anh said that this is a young architect, who was trained abroad.

"He has hidden problems in his daily life. In the movie, there will be situations that make him have to choose between his career life and his love life.

I also had a headache when choosing the image for the character Hiep. Since the end of Black Medicine, I have not cut my hair to be different from my old character. I also prepared glasses for my character," Huynh Anh said.

When asked about his co-stars, Huynh Anh said: "Le Bong and Minh Thu are very young but both are talented so we have no difficulty working together."

Le Bong shared that her character Duyen is a mountain girl who is passionate and desires to build community houses for children in the highlands. The film has given Le Bong the opportunity to learn and act better and better.

Missed appointment with green day also mentions a "trendy" issue of the young generation, which is the desire to position one's own value and create values for society.

Each person has their own path, some right, some wrong, but through that, viewers see the beautiful image of today's youth - a generation that dares to think, dares to do, dares to take responsibility for the community.

Besides the career story, the family story is also a very important part of the film.

In addition to the three young actors, the film also features veteran artists, Meritorious Artist Mai Nguyen and Meritorious Artist Quach Thu Phuong. After the film Flavor of Love, they once again play a married couple in the film.
