Intel has acknowledged the existence of this conflict and stated that the April 2026 driver update is designed to thoroughly address the vulnerabilities. Specifically, the Wi-Fi driver has been upgraded to version 24.40.0, while the Bluetooth driver has a new version, 24.40.0.3.
According to the release notes, Intel has patched a bug that improves the compatibility between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. As a result, devices such as Bluetooth headphones, mice, keyboards, and gamepads will function more stably even when Wi-Fi is transmitting large amounts of data. At the same time, Wi-Fi speeds will be less affected when Bluetooth devices are connected.
In addition, the update also brings improvements to overall system stability, along with several other bug fixes.
Users can install the new driver through the Intel Graphics Software application or download it directly from the manufacturer's support page. In the long term, Microsoft plans to distribute these drivers through Windows Update, but the specific timing has not yet been announced.
