iPhone 15 price increased by millions of dong

(Dan Tri) - iPhone 15 is being offered by dealers at a price of 17 million VND for the 128GB version. The current price is 1.2 million VND higher than in early October.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporters, representatives of some authorized Apple dealers in Vietnam said that the company has just changed its pricing policy and sales program for the iPhone 15 product line. This has caused the product's selling price to increase significantly compared to before.

Specifically, the iPhone 15 is being offered by dealers at a price of 17 million VND for the 128GB version. The current price is 1.2 million VND higher than in early October.

"After the price of iPhone 15 was adjusted, product sales no longer increased as strongly as in previous months. Users are considering more other options such as iPhone 14 and iPhone 16e," said a representative of Minh Tuan Mobile.

After announcing the iPhone 17 product line, Apple quietly discontinued a series of older products, including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus duo. To date, the iPhone 15 is still among the most popular products in the under 20 million VND segment.

According to dealers, the supply of iPhone 15 in the Vietnamese market is still relatively stable and there is no information about stopping production. However, the color options are not as diverse as before.

In the same segment, the iPhone 15 is currently competing with its own "homegrown" model, the iPhone 16e. The iPhone 15 stands out thanks to its youthful, colorful design, Dynamic Island screen, and dual camera cluster.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e has a powerful A18 chip, supports the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence toolkit and has better battery life. Although it is an old product, the iPhone 15 is more popular with Vietnamese users than Apple's newly launched model.

"The price adjustment move could be a solution by Apple to differentiate devices more clearly. With a difference of 2 million VND at the present time, iPhone 16e will become a better choice for users," a representative of the distribution system commented.
