Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, representatives from several authorized Apple dealers in Vietnam said that the company has recently changed its pricing policy and sales program for the iPhone 15 series. This has resulted in a significant increase in the product's price compared to before.

Specifically, the iPhone 15 is currently being offered by retailers at a price of 17 million VND for the 128GB version. This current price is 1.2 million VND higher than it was at the beginning of October.

"After the iPhone 15 price adjustment, sales are no longer increasing as sharply as in previous months. Users are considering other options such as the iPhone 14 and iPhone 16e," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile shared.

After announcing the iPhone 17 series, Apple quietly discontinued a number of older products, including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. To this day, the iPhone 15 remains a popular choice among consumers in the under 20 million VND price range.

According to retailers, the supply of iPhone 15 in the Vietnamese market remains relatively stable, and there is no information about production being discontinued. However, the color options are no longer as diverse as before.

Within the same segment, the iPhone 15 currently competes with its own sibling, the iPhone 16e. The iPhone 15 stands out thanks to its youthful, colorful design, Dynamic Island display, and dual camera system.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e boasts a powerful A18 chip, supports Apple Intelligence, and offers better battery life. Despite being an older model, the iPhone 15 is more popular among Vietnamese users than Apple's newly released model.

"The price adjustment could be Apple's way of clearly differentiating its devices. With a difference of 2 million VND at the moment, the iPhone 16e will become a more optimal choice for users," a representative from a distribution system commented.
