According to WCCF Tech , the latest rumors suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max may have a completely new back design, with a highlight being a camera bar similar to the Google Pixel.
iPhone 17 Pro series will overhaul the back design
YouTuber Jon Prosser of the Front Page Tech channel has just revealed that instead of continuing the tradition of flat back design with 3 camera clusters like previous generations, the iPhone 17 Pro will be equipped with a prominent camera bar, containing the main camera cluster, LED flash, microphone and LiDAR sensor. This design is said to be quite similar to the Google Pixel 9 series.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro will likely also come in a contrasting two-tone finish, with the camera bar being darker than the rest of the body.

Jon Prosser's sources said that Apple is looking to refresh the iPhone design after many years without significant changes. It is believed that a slight decline in iPhone sales in the first quarter of 2025 is one of the reasons that prompted Apple to decide to 'transform' its flagship product line.
However, Jon Prosser is known for his rumors which are not always accurate, so viewers should take this information with a grain of salt.
If the rumors turn out to be true, this will be the most notable design change of the iPhone in recent years. Will the new design be attractive enough to 'heat up' the smartphone market and help Apple regain growth momentum? Users will have to wait and see.
