According to NDTV , on June 13, the Iranian military launched about 100 drones toward Israel in response to Tel Aviv's previous preemptive strike.
"Iran has launched about 100 UAVs towards Israeli territory and we are working to shoot them down," said Israeli Army spokeswoman Brigadier General Effie Defrin.

Earlier in the day, Israel deployed 200 fighter jets to attack more than 100 targets in Iran.
On the same day, Iranian state television also confirmed that Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Hossein Salami and six top nuclear scientists were also killed in recent Tel Aviv airstrikes.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials confirmed on state television that scheduled nuclear talks with the US in Oman will no longer take place. All discussions are now suspended until further notice.
President Donald Trump reportedly said that Tel Aviv's actions were self-defense and that he was ready to defend Israel if Iran retaliated.
