Jaecoo J7 in Vietnam is about to have a 4-wheel drive version

With the new version, Jaecoo J7 will be the next C-size SUV in Vietnam with 4-wheel drive.

Jaecoo J7 is a C-size SUV that was officially introduced in the Vietnamese market earlier this year with 2 versions, including Flagship and PHEV Flagship. This year, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will add a new version to this model, which is AWD Individual.

Expected to launch in Vietnam at the end of 2025, Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual was born to serve the off-road needs of users. The highlight of this model is of course the AWD all-wheel drive system. According to the manufacturer, the AWD drive system of this C-size SUV has a response time of less than 0.1 seconds.

In addition, the car also has 7 driving modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Sand, Mud, Offroad. Ground clearance of 186 mm, approach angle of 21 degrees, departure angle of 29 degrees and wading ability of 600 mm are also notable parameters of the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual that will be sold in Vietnam.

With the new version, Jaecoo J7 will be the next C-size SUV in Vietnam with 4-wheel drive, alongside familiar names such as Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, Subaru Forester, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. In addition to the AWD full-time 4-wheel drive system, Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual also has outstanding equipment.

The car's equipment includes; such as electric driver's seat/memory position, 14.8-inch touch screen infotainment screen, HUD windshield information display, 8-speaker Sony sound system, automatic air conditioning with fine dust filter system, wireless charger, interior ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, hands-free electric trunk and cooled storage compartment.

The safety features of the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual are also very complete with 7 airbags, a 540-degree camera system with simulated undercarriage observation and driver distraction warning. ADAS active safety features are of course also equipped for this model.

The "heart" of the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual in Vietnam is a 1.6L, turbocharged, 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing up to 183 horsepower and 275 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is combined with a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The selling price of the Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual SUV in Vietnam has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, the remaining 2 versions of this C-size SUV are priced from 739 - 879 million VND.
