On December 6, 2024, Juneyao Airlines used an Airbus A320 to fly from Shanghai to Hanoi - the airline's first direct flight to Vietnam.
Juneyao Airlines plans to add a new route from Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City this week.
Juneyao Airlines' Shanghai Pudong - Hanoi route will operate once a day starting from December 6, with a one-way flight time of approximately 3.5 hours. Flight HO1329 departs Shanghai at 23:15 and arrives at Noi Bai International Airport at 01:50 local time the following day. Return flight HO1330 takes off at 02:50 local time and returns to Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 07:00 Beijing time.
Juneyao Airlines' newly added route Shanghai Pudong - Ho Chi Minh City starting from December 9 will be deployed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Outbound flight HO1327 takes off from Pudong Airport at 22:35 and arrives at Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City at 02:00 local time the next day. Return flight HO1328 takes off at 03:00 local time the next day and returns to Shanghai Pudong at 07:55 am.
Since launching its first international route from Shanghai to Phuket in November 2012, Juneyao Airlines has been focusing on its network in Southeast Asia. Currently, the airline offers more than 80 flights per week on 12 routes to Southeast Asia, connecting 5 Southeast Asian countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam.
