Nowadays, the need for trade connection and expanding cooperation between enterprises is increasing. In the supply chain, output is the decisive factor. Customers are an indispensable factor in the product development process of enterprises.

Realizing this, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with MCN Live Channel Company to organize a B2B (business-to-business) connection session at the 2024 Southeast Regional Specialties and Typical Products Fair, held in Tay Ninh . This is an opportunity for businesses to find partners and expand the market.

This program has the participation of reputable product distributors such as Co.opMart Supermarket, Go Supermarket (Tay Ninh), Tu Son Supermarket ( An Giang ); ensuring that every business inside and outside the province has the opportunity to present products and find suitable partners. The program focuses on many areas such as: agricultural products, processed foods, OCOP products, consumer goods and environmentally friendly products, in line with current market trends.

Representatives of production units and distribution enterprises exchanged and shared experiences to promote product consumption and at the same time increase trade of domestically produced goods.

Currently, small and medium enterprises account for nearly 98% of the total number of enterprises, making positive contributions to economic growth as well as sustainable social development. However, enterprises have not yet fully exploited their potential and advantages.

According to the Tay Ninh Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, the organization of a business-to-business (B2B) connection session at the 2024 Regional Specialties and Typical Products Fair of the Southeast Region - Tay Ninh Provinces and Cities is a highlight and very encouraging. This is a strategic step to promote trade promotion effectiveness and optimize business cooperation opportunities for participating businesses.

At this B2B program, businesses have the opportunity to directly contact distributors to connect information, helping distributors buy quality goods at the cheapest place, from there bring them to distribution channels as well as consumers, thereby responding to the "Campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods". The main goal of the program is for businesses to be able to exchange, introduce, and promote their brands, especially between manufacturing enterprises and distribution enterprises, in which small and medium enterprises are important.

Representative of the distributor, Mr. Tu Son - Director of Tu Son Supermarket (An Giang) said: “I feel that I have a deep connection, so when Tay Ninh has an event, I have to participate. Tay Ninh businesses are more honest and genuine in their way of doing things, creating more and more relationships. Currently, there are more than 30 provinces and cities that have relationships with my supermarket, in which Tay Ninh and Soc Trang are always at the top. If we talk about criteria, today will be different, tomorrow will be different, but the important thing is the determination and honesty in the way of doing things of the business, that is an important factor in connecting trade”.

Expand the market

B2B sessions allow businesses and partners to communicate directly, saving time and costs compared to traditional approaches. Local businesses have the opportunity to meet large distributors and exporters, thereby expanding their consumption markets in and outside the province.

Mr. Le Minh Trung - Chairman of Minh Trung Agricultural Service Cooperative (Tan Chau district) said: “The cooperative was established in 2022, with 30 members. The main field of operation of the cooperative is the fertilizer supply chain and the consumption of custard apples. Currently, the cooperative is associated with 127 farmers, with an area of ​​600 hectares, the output harvested and supplied to the market is 15 tons/day, in which our main distribution channels are wholesale markets, small traders, high-end fruit stores, etc.

The cooperative's products have been certified with 4-star OCOP and have traceability stamps. Through the meeting, I hope that the attending partners such as Go Supermarket, Co.opmart, and Tu Son will study more about debt, especially in the agricultural sector, because the cooperative does not have a large amount of capital to consume products for a long time.

Connecting businesses helps businesses reach more distributors, from which they can choose the right distributor to expand their market. This helps businesses optimize their supply chain, manage resources effectively, reduce production and business costs and improve competitiveness.

Mr. Vu Thai Lanh - Director of Lanh Group Joint Stock Company said that the company regularly selects typical products to display, promote and introduce at the general booth of OCOP products, typical rural industrial products at many trade promotion events in and outside the province. In addition to promoting brands and products to consumers, this is also an opportunity for businesses to reach many distributors in provinces and cities.

Nowadays, the need for trade connection and expanding cooperation between enterprises is increasing. Promoting the role of Associations and industries in organizing promotion programs so that each enterprise can become a partner and customer is becoming more urgent.

Mr. Nguyen The Tan - Deputy Director of Tra Tam Lan Company, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Business Association said that in the province there are several thousand enterprises, the majority are small and micro, medium enterprises are limited. Small enterprises and some startups have very limited development capacity, competitive products are difficult to bring to the market, so when there are fairs and trade promotions, it is an opportunity for enterprises to connect with other enterprises, to perfect products to better serve consumers.

Through trade promotion events, businesses will learn about their products compared to other businesses, their advantages and disadvantages, packaging and design, and consumer tastes; through discussions with visitors, businesses also listen to consumers' opinions to make better adjustments in the future,” Mr. Tan added.
