Connecting knowledge between students of Da Nang and Phuoc Son mountainous area

DNO - Son Tra High School and Phuoc Son Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities have just had a meaningful exchange and sharing of learning experiences.

The luggage of the Son Tra students not only included books, uniforms, and gifts, but also the desire to share. The initial handshakes and shy smiles quickly turned into closeness through games, performances, and study discussions. In particular, the 99 uniforms and 21 Ao Dai dresses given to Phuoc Son teachers and students left a warm impression.

Mr. Bui Minh Quang, Principal of Son Tra High School affirmed: "Once students know how to appreciate differences and learn from each other, they will progress together and contribute to building their homeland."

Mr. Truong Cong Thu, Principal of Phuoc Son Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, was moved: "Activities like this add motivation, helping our students have more joy and confidence to make more efforts."

Phuong Giang (grade 11, Phuoc Son Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities) expressed: "I feel that the meeting and exchange is very good, connecting the two schools. I hope there will be more meetings so that we can understand each other and progress together."

Through this activity, city students have the opportunity to experience life in the mountains; while highland students are given more confidence, motivation and new learning methods.

This journey of knowledge opens up a long-term direction: exchanging teachers, building a common online club, organizing summer camps connecting the lowlands and the highlands. As Mr. Quang said: “We do not only give each other uniforms or books, but also sow seeds of hope, holding hands to move forward.”

The merger of Da Nang and Quang Nam is not only a matter of adding up the boundaries, but also an opportunity to enrich the identity and strengthen the human bond. And from a small trip, a great message has spread: when the plains and the mountains join hands, knowledge will beat the rhythm for a common future.
