The Center has implemented various forms of job counseling and placement services. The Center has recorded nearly 130 job vacancies from businesses; and updated information on approximately 2,750 job seekers into its database, serving the analysis and forecasting of labor supply and demand.
In addition to connecting people with domestic jobs, the Center continues to provide advice and create a pool of workers for overseas employment under contract. Through this, 144 workers have been supported to work in markets such as Japan, Taiwan (China), South Korea, and Russia… of which 40 have already departed for seasonal work in South Korea.
In the coming period, the Can Tho City Employment Service Center will continue to maintain activities such as "Job Cafes," employer meet-and-greets, job fairs in communes and wards, and job fairs at universities; and promote communication about domestic and international jobs... thereby supporting workers in finding suitable jobs sooner.
