Overcoming the consequences of storms at night in Ha Tinh

Heavy rain and strong whirlwinds swept through many localities in Ha Tinh province on the evening of July 19, causing many houses to have their roofs blown off and trees to fall. Currently, local authorities and functional forces are helping people overcome the consequences.

On the afternoon of July 20, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Giang Commune ( Ha Tinh Province) said that local authorities and organizations are focusing on overcoming the consequences of damage caused by storms and tornadoes in the area. At the same time, proactively preparing plans to respond to storm No. 3.

Previously, at around 7 p.m. on July 19, a heavy rain and thunderstorm occurred in Son Giang commune, causing the roofs of 8 classrooms in the 2-story building of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Secondary School to be blown off. In addition, the thunderstorm also caused many trees in the area to fall. The initial damage caused by the thunderstorm is estimated at over 200 million VND.
