On the afternoon of July 20, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Giang Commune ( Ha Tinh Province) said that local authorities and organizations are focusing on overcoming the consequences of damage caused by storms and tornadoes in the area. At the same time, proactively preparing plans to respond to storm No. 3.


Previously, at around 7 p.m. on July 19, a heavy rain and thunderstorm occurred in Son Giang commune, causing the roofs of 8 classrooms in the 2-story building of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Secondary School to be blown off. In addition, the thunderstorm also caused many trees in the area to fall. The initial damage caused by the thunderstorm is estimated at over 200 million VND.


At the same time, heavy rain and strong storms swept through many communes and wards in Ha Tinh province, causing many houses and outbuildings to have their roofs blown off and be damaged. A series of crops were broken.


Immediately after the rain stopped and the storm dissipated, local authorities mobilized forces, coordinated with mass organizations and people to support people to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.
