In the first five months of 2024, Hanoi received a total of 11.55 million tourists, a 14.0% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

Based on the results achieved, the Hanoi Department of Tourism anticipates that in the first six months of 2024, the total number of tourists visiting Hanoi will reach approximately 14.05 million.

Souvenirs are especially attractive to tourists.

Currently, Hanoi has 3,760 accommodation establishments with 71,246 rooms. Of these, 607 hotels and apartment complexes have been rated from 1 to 5 stars.

As for tourism services that meet standards, the city currently has 43 food and beverage establishments, 41 shopping establishments, 7 entertainment establishments, and 2 healthcare establishments that have been recognized as meeting standards for serving tourists.

It can be seen that, in the context of domestic and international economic difficulties and challenges, and with many economic sectors experiencing low recovery and growth rates, the tourism industry in Hanoi continues to recover and develop, achieving many positive results.
