In early August, a female free climber was hit by a falling rock while conquering the snowy mountain of Le Da Man An (Sichuan province, China). The accident left her with a broken femur, damaged toes, and unable to move on her own.
Despite the efforts of those accompanying him to help, the victim's injuries were too severe to move. There was no cell phone signal in the area where the accident occurred. They tried to contact the rescue team several times but were unable to connect.

After that, the group of tourists used walkie-talkies to contact the group of horses that transported their luggage when they went up the mountain. This is also a service provided by local people to tourists.
The two sides agreed to hire 6 stretcher bearers. Each person would receive a fee of 10,000 yuan (36.8 million VND). The total amount to be paid was 60,000 yuan (more than 220 million VND).
However, due to the complex mountainous terrain, the total number of people needed to help had to be increased to 10. The local rescue team did not charge extra, keeping the fee at 60,000 yuan.
After more than 12 hours of hardship, the team brought the girl in distress to the safe area of Cach Tay grassland. This is where the rescue team and authorities can approach and assist in taking the victim to the hospital.
Up to now, the girl's health has stabilized. The female tourist shared her experience through a video , but caused a lot of controversy on social networks in this country.
One opinion is that the rescue price of 60,000 yuan is too expensive. Some people even doubt whether this number can be considered "overpriced" or not.
Faced with much conflicting information, the female tourist recently posted a new video, sharing her personal opinion.
According to the girl, this is a price agreed upon by both parties, not forced. As someone with experience conquering snowy peaks, she said the cost of helicopter rescue in places with complex terrain is up to 300,000 yuan (1.1 billion VND).
"Life is more precious than money. I think spending 60,000 yuan to save my life is completely worth it," she said.
