Number of visitors to Cam Thanh coconut forest during holidays increases slightly

Mr. Tran Chien - Chairman of Cam Thanh Commune People's Committee said that from April 27 to April 30, the total number of visitors to Cam Thanh coconut forest reached 13,657, including 5,074 Vietnamese visitors (about 37%) and 8,583 international visitors. On average, the coconut forest welcomes more than 3,400 visitors per day, an increase of 10 - 15% compared to normal days.

Specifically, on April 27, Cam Thanh coconut forest welcomed 3,322 visitors (889 Vietnamese visitors); on April 28, it welcomed 3,581 visitors (1,315 Vietnamese visitors); on April 29, it welcomed 3,441 visitors (1,506 Vietnamese visitors); and on April 30, it welcomed 3,313 visitors (1,364 Vietnamese visitors). It is estimated that on May 1, the coconut forest welcomed 2,650 visitors, of which about 940 were Vietnamese visitors.

In particular, accommodation activities in the commune during the holiday were very successful with 3,088 guests registering to stay (including 1,142 international guests and 1,946 Vietnamese guests), room occupancy rate reached 85%.
