Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the evening of February 28, Major General Dinh Van Noi - Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - said that he had directed and assigned the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with relevant units to investigate the content of the reflection on Facebook about a bus company running the Quang Ninh - Hanoi route "ripping off" prices, when passengers did not agree, they were abandoned in the middle of the road, and even assaulted.

According to Major General Dinh Van Noi, the authorities have so far found the car in the report and summoned the driver to work, and are temporarily holding the car for further investigation.

"I assign the Criminal Police Department to continue investigating and handle any mistakes accordingly. The viewpoint of Quang Ninh Provincial Police is to handle the case thoroughly, and if there is enough evidence, we will prosecute," said Major General Dinh Van Noi.

According to him, currently the authorities are contacting the complainant to consolidate the records and evidence.

Previously, on the Facebook group "Xe tien truyen Quang Ninh", an account named Bach Thi D. shared a picture of a car with license plate 14B-042.xx, along with a woman with scratches on her neck.

Along with that, there are accusations that this bus company "overcharges" passengers, and when passengers do not agree, they act like thugs, chasing them down the middle of the highway. In addition, when they discover that passengers are taking pictures of the bus, the driver also assaults the photographer.

The above information has received hundreds of comments and shares after appearing. Most of the opinions are outraged by the above bus company's actions of chasing passengers down the middle of the road and beating them. At the same time, the online community hopes that the authorities will soon step in to clarify and handle the bus company if it violates.

According to information from vehicle registration data, the owner of the car with license plate 14B-042.xx is VTT (residing in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province).

The maximum number of people allowed on the vehicle is 10, however, this vehicle is not registered for transportation business and does not have a journey monitoring device installed. This car was inspected on November 3, 2023, and the inspection period is until May 2, 2024.
