Opening of the first Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations

On September 22, the first working session of the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, term 2025-2030, took place in Hanoi.

The Congress took place under the direction of comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Attending the Congress were nearly 350 official delegates, representing more than 5,000 party members of the Fatherland Front Party Committee and central organizations.

Taking place over two days, September 22 and 23, with the motto of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development", at the first working session, delegates voted to approve the list of the Presidium consisting of 14 comrades, the Secretariat consisting of three comrades, the Delegate Qualification Examination Board consisting of nine comrades; and approved the program, internal rules and working regulations of the Congress.

Presenting a report summarizing opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc said: the process of giving opinions has created a vibrant and democratic political atmosphere, demonstrating the trust and responsibility of Party members and people of all walks of life towards the Party's leadership.

Comments focused on assessing achievements and limitations in the five years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; analyzing the domestic and international context; and proposing to add many important contents to the draft documents.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu spoke at the Congress.

After listening to the Report synthesizing opinions on the draft documents submitted to the Congress and some typical presentations, the delegates divided into discussion groups to contribute opinions on the documents submitted to the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations and the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The solemn session of the Congress takes place tomorrow, September 23 in Hanoi.
