The tournament took place from May 10-23 at Khe May Artificial Football Field, gathering 192 players from 12 grassroots football clubs in the province, including: Provincial Police FC, Future FC, Q9 FC, Chois FC, Van Tai FC, Chi Thien Lenh FC, Dao Quan FC, Duc Phuc FC, Gio Lao FC, Thuong Nghia FC, Huong Hiep FC and Phakein FC. The 12 teams were divided into 3 groups A, B, C, competing in a round robin to select the 6 teams with the highest and second highest scores in the 3 groups and the 2 third-placed teams with the best results to compete in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award the Championship Cup, Flag, Gold Medal and a bonus of 12 million VND to the Champion team; Flag, Silver Medal and a bonus of 6 million VND to the Runner-up team; Flag, Bronze Medal and a bonus of 3 million VND to the two third-place teams; and award individual prizes including: best player, best goalkeeper of the tournament, player with the most goals of the tournament, best young player of the tournament.

The Quang Tri Province 7-a-side Football Championship is held annually in the form of socializing sports ; creating a playground for people with the same passion and contributing to promoting the widespread development of the football movement throughout the province; at the same time, it aims to select good players for the Quang Tri amateur football team to participate in amateur football tournaments nationwide in the coming time.
