This morning, May 11, at Quang Tri Pedagogical College, the 2024 Provincial and District Level Examination Council for Promotion of Civil Servants of Party Agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations (the Examination Council) held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Civil Servants Promotion Examination. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Examination Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Vice Chairman of the Examination Council Phan Van Phung attended the opening ceremony.

Participating in this exam are 22 candidates/18 quotas, coming from party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial and district levels.

During 1 day, candidates will take the following exams: general knowledge, multiple-choice test on computer, test time 60 minutes, 60 questions; foreign language (English), multiple-choice test on computer, test time 30 minutes, 30 questions; professional expertise in the field of party work, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, essay test, test time 180 minutes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang emphasized: The exam is held annually with the aim of bringing the selection and training of cadres and civil servants into order, gradually standardizing the cadres and civil servants to meet the requirements of the industrialization and modernization period.

This is an important and necessary exam, ensuring the rights and obligations of civil servants and public employees according to the provisions of law; re-examining the knowledge that cadres and civil servants have researched and synthesized during their time working at agencies and units; deciding the quality of civil servants and public employees of Party agencies, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial and district levels.

Organizing the exam with a competitive rate according to regulations aims to create a more substantial learning atmosphere, improve qualifications and knowledge to meet requirements and tasks; each officer and civil servant taking the exam must strive continuously.

To ensure that the exam is conducted seriously, objectively, fairly, impartially and transparently, the examination board, the supervisory board and the examination committee are required to, based on their assigned tasks, create favorable conditions for candidates to complete the exam well; strictly implement the regulations and rules of the exam. Candidates are required to strictly comply with the regulations and comply with all instructions of the supervisors.
