(Fatherland) - On August 30, the national exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh's Testament - values and everlasting vitality" opened at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace. The exhibition was organized under the direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024) and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969-September 2, 2024).
On August 30, the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace held the opening ceremony of the national exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh's Testament - eternal value and vitality" to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969-2024) and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024).
Attending the event were Party Central Committee member, Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee Le Quang Manh; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong; Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed: Organizing the Exhibition at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace - where Uncle Ho lived and worked during the last 15 years of his life, where he wrote his Will - has great significance. Over the past 55 years since Uncle Ho passed away, the Relic Site has been performing the task of preserving relics, documents, artifacts and landscape environment in parallel with promoting research activities on the life, career and moral ideology and style of Ho Chi Minh to widely propagate in the country and around the world. Therefore, this exhibition is an opportunity for visitors and the public to learn about the heritages that he left behind, extremely special heritages in a special historical period of the nation.

With more than 200 documents and images extracted from archives, museums, relics, libraries, news agencies, newspapers, etc., the exhibition is divided into 3 parts: Biography and career of President Ho Chi Minh; Testament - national treasure; 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.
The documents and images on display contribute to affirming the value and everlasting vitality of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament. Over the past 55 years, Ho Chi Minh's ideology and his Testament have always accompanied the nation, illuminating and guiding the entire Party, people and army to always be steadfast and loyal to his revolutionary cause and ideals.
The exhibition is also an opportunity for the public to access documents and images of special value to research projects on the National Treasure - President Ho Chi Minh's Testament. It is both a source of pride and motivation for the entire Party, people and army to actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example; strive to build a clean and strong Party and political system according to his will; promote the strength of national unity and the strength of the times, build Vietnam to be increasingly rich, civilized and heroic.
After the exhibition, the display and explanation content will be made into a clip and posted on the website of the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace to continue to promote and serve the public's needs in the coming time.
The exhibition helps viewers better understand the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of Vietnam's national liberation, outstanding cultural figure; better understand the circumstances of birth and the process of writing President Ho Chi Minh's Will; the core content as well as the profound theoretical and practical values in President Ho Chi Minh's Will; along with that is the process of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people implementing his Will over the past 55 years with great achievements, valuable lessons, continuing to be promoted in the new revolutionary period.
These are lessons about the Party's optimistic spirit and revolutionary scientific mettle; lessons about solidarity and unity within the Party; lessons about practicing democracy widely, regularly, and seriously, including self-criticism and criticism; lessons about paying special attention to the young generation, the future owners of the country; lessons about caring for and constantly improving the people's lives; lessons about the spirit of dedication to revolutionary ideals.
