Offering incense to commemorate the 95th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day

On September 12, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet Day (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2025), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Memorial House and Monument, Can Loc commune, Ha Tinh province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung laid a wreath at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Monument.

Attending the memorial ceremony were also representatives of departments, branches and leaders of localities: Can Loc, Tung Loc, Dong Loc, Xuan Loc, Gia Hanh, Truong Luu.

In a solemn atmosphere, Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung and delegates expressed their respect and tribute to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh , revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and our predecessors, the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh vow to continue promoting the spirit of the Nghe Tinh Soviets, maintain revolutionary mettle, remain loyal to the path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho, and are determined to build our homeland to be increasingly civilized and prosperous.

Exactly 95 years ago, the revolutionary movement of 1930-1931 in Ha Tinh started with a demonstration on August 1, 1930 by the people of Can Loc district (formerly). The movement quickly spread throughout 8 prefectures, districts and provincial capitals, leading to the birth of Soviet governments in many localities.

At Nghen junction, on September 12, 1930, the people of Can Loc and neighboring areas rose up to fight for national liberation, and at the same time held a rally to commemorate the Guangzhou Commune. Despite brutal repression, many comrades and compatriots still fought steadfastly and fell for their noble ideals.

The uprising in Can Loc was one of the typical highlights, contributing to the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement - the peak of the revolutionary movement in the years 1930-1931, leaving a deep mark in the history of the struggle for national liberation.
