Phu Giao Commune (HCMC): Heavy rain, trees fell all over the road

Heavy rain on the evening of November 9 caused many trees to be uprooted, some of which fell and crushed people's motorbikes.

Mr. Vu Hai Ly, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Giao Commune (HCMC) said that the incident of falling trees in the area did not cause any human casualties. Currently, the functional forces are urgently handling the situation.

According to the reporter's records, after the rain on the afternoon of November 9, the main routes into the center of Phu Giao commune such as 19-8 Street, Hung Vuong Street... had uprooted trees falling across the road.

The incident caused local power outages in some areas.

Immediately after the incident, functional forces including the Commune Military Command; Regional Electricity and Public Works Enterprise quickly arrived to handle the incident.
