According to the reporter's records on the above road section, the road surface is peeling, patchy, and has deep holes in many places, making it very difficult for people to move, especially for motorbikes or small cars.
During the rainy season, water stagnates in deep holes, making the road even more damaged. During the dry season, dust affects people living along the road and vehicles passing by.
On this stretch of road, the authorities have also filled in some areas with stones to level the road surface. However, this is only a temporary solution because if it rains a lot, the road can easily crack and sink again.
It is known that this vital route connecting Can Tho City through Rach Gia ( An Giang ), was put into operation in 2016, initially paved with asphalt, but only a few years later it began to peel off. Due to the high traffic volume, the road surface quickly deteriorated.
Recently, many locations have sunk and protruded asphalt, making traffic a nightmare for local residents and long-distance drivers.
