Travel is also more convenient thanks to Russia's e-visa policy and approximately 25 direct flights per week connecting Moscow with cities in Vietnam.

At the end of May, Moscow also launched the third season of the "Summer in Moscow" project – a citywide program with over 500 participating locations, bringing together a variety of cultural, educational , sporting, and lifestyle activities throughout the summer.

Famous landmarks like Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral remain essential stops on any Moscow exploration . However, what truly makes the city unique is the coexistence of multiple historical layers within a single space.

One of Moscow's most unique aspects is that visitors can experience multiple historical periods all in one trip. The city preserves the imprint of the Tsarist era, the Russian Empire, the Soviet era, and modern Moscow through its architecture, museums, squares, and urban spaces.

Visitors can explore medieval monasteries and churches, Romanov palaces, Stalinist-style skyscrapers, and the world-famous Soviet-era metro system. These Soviet-era landmarks, Soviet architecture, monuments, and museums provide a deeper understanding of the historical period that shaped relations between the two countries for decades.

One of the notable destinations is the VDNH – a complex showcasing the achievements of the Soviet Union's national economy. This large-scale space displays the agricultural, scientific, and cultural achievements of the Soviet era.

The Aerospace and Space Centre is one of the most attractive areas, showcasing numerous artifacts related to the history of space exploration, such as spacecraft, satellites, spacecraft capsules, and archival documents. In addition to exhibitions, it also hosts tours, workshops, and themed festivals.

Summer is also the ideal time to explore historic estates through the Moscow Estates festival. These estates were once the summer retreats of Russian aristocratic families and are now open to the public.

Beyond admiring the architecture and landscapes, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the life and atmosphere of the Russian aristocracy in the 18th and 19th centuries through performances, workshops, tours, and interactive cultural activities.

History enthusiasts should also not miss the "Times and Epochs" festival, which recreates various periods of Russian and world history through performances, exhibitions, and interactive workshops.

Besides its historical value, modern Moscow is also developing new cultural spaces. Tourists are increasingly interested in Zaryadye Park with its futuristic design and views of the Kremlin, or Red October – the legendary chocolate factory renovated into a creative riverside complex with restaurants, bars, and art studios.

Summer in Moscow also sees a host of large-scale cultural events. The 5th Moscow International Jazz Festival will bring together over 1,000 international artists, while the 4th Zaryadye Summer Music Festival will feature operas and symphony concerts.

With its blend of history, culture, and modern life, Moscow offers international visitors the opportunity to explore different historical periods in a single trip. The city has also developed numerous platforms to support international tourists, offering multilingual services, convenient transportation, and pre-designed itineraries through the Discover Moscow platform.
