Urgently pay benefits to those who quit their jobs according to Decree 178 before October 15

The State Treasury has just sent a telegram to the State Treasuries of provinces and cities on disseminating and directing the implementation of payment of policies and regimes for people who have left their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP (amended and supplemented in Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP) on Policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and armed forces in implementing the reorganization of the political system.

Accordingly, the Director of the State Treasury requested the Directors of State Treasuries of the regions and the Head of the State Treasury Transaction Board to implement a number of contents.

Specifically, to propagate, disseminate and thoroughly understand to all civil servants performing tasks at the Professional Departments, Transaction Offices of the regional State Treasury, Transaction Boards; to direct civil servants of the Professional Departments, Transaction Offices, Transaction Boards to be aware of payment and payment of policies and regimes for subjects affected by the reorganization of the apparatus according to the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP is a top priority political task, which needs to be focused on, prioritized in leadership, direction and timely implementation, in accordance with regulations and effectively.

The State Treasury requests its subordinate units to urge budget-using units to promptly complete documents to send to the State Treasury. At the same time, arrange for civil servants, including leaders and specialists, to work on Saturdays and Sundays (October 11-12, 2025) to ensure payment to the subjects as requested by the budget-using units, to be completed before October 15.

In addition, coordinate with commercial banks where the State Treasury opens accounts to ensure smooth and timely payment to beneficiaries.
