On the afternoon of July 17, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said that it had sent a document to relevant departments and People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones requesting urgent completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before July 31.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to urgently urge and speed up progress, ensuring the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before July 31, as directed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the same time, assign the leader of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment to be the focal point, daily update and summarize the results of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to statistical software, and report to the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee according to regulations.
The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions shall preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to accelerate the implementation of Project 1 of the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas ; other programs related to the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses (if any), to be completed before July 31.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to urgently speed up the progress of housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in the province, to be completed before July 24.
Directors of the above-mentioned departments and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones are responsible to the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee if they fail to complete their tasks on time.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province, as of July 11, the whole province had 6,004 houses approved for support and 5,112 houses had been completed (3,823 newly built, 1,289 repaired), reaching a rate of 85.3%. Of which, area 1-old Lam Dong has completed all 2,044 houses as approved; area 2-old Binh Thuan has completed 1,341/1,456 houses and area 3-old Dak Nong has completed 1,727/2,504 houses. Notably, in area 3, there are 23 communes and wards that have not completed the housing policy for people with meritorious services (0/112 houses).
