Conference Overview

Comrade Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave his opinion on the content at the Conference.

Comrade Duong Xuan Hung, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, gave his opinion on the content of the Conference.

At the Conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Preparations for the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Report on requesting opinions on selling assets attached to land to organizations assigned land to implement the New Urban Area project, Central Walking Street of Thai Nguyen City; Report on the situation and results of handling land-related violations that occurred before the 2013 Land Law took effect in the province; Plan to implement Conclusion No. 116-KL/TW dated January 17, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat on policies for working with new religious and belief phenomena; Report on the implementation results of Directive No. 33-CT/TU dated November 22, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening state management of investment and construction, settlement, handover, and management of infrastructure works of investment projects on construction of urban areas, housing areas, and residential areas in the province invested from non-budgetary capital sources.

The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to focus on leadership and direction to start the Central Walking Street Project of Thai Nguyen City in 2025.

Concluding the Conference, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation work for the 21st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 of the sub-committees, and at the same time requested the sub-committees to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, proactively advise, propose, and focus on widely soliciting opinions to ensure that the Party Congress documents are scientific works, the crystallization of intelligence, demonstrating the vision and comprehensive development strategy of the province in the coming term.

Identifying the implementation of the Central Walking Street Project of Thai Nguyen City as an important political task, a key project of the entire term, the Provincial Party Secretary assigned the Provincial Party Committee to direct the Provincial People's Committee and specialized agencies to uphold the sense of responsibility, promptly complete procedures, select investors to start construction in 2025; focus on completing procedures and conditions to ensure the auction of assets attached to land for organizations assigned land to implement the New Urban Area project, Central Walking Street of Thai Nguyen City in accordance with the provisions of law. For key projects proposed to be affixed with a sign welcoming the 21st Provincial Party Congress; the Provincial Party Secretary requested the members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to study, discuss, and select 21 typical projects and works that have a widespread effect, carry the identity of Thai Nguyen and have a strong impact on the socio-economic development of the term to affix a sign welcoming the Congress.

* In the afternoon of the same day, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung chaired the 43rd Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term XX, 2020 - 2025.

At the Conference, delegates were informed of a number of Central documents such as: Regulation No. 231-QD/TW, dated January 17, 2025 of the Politburo on protecting and fighting against corruption, waste, and negativity; Conclusion No. 107-KL/TW dated December 24, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to strengthen the Party leadership in receiving people and handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections; Conclusion No. 115-KL/TW, dated January 16, 2025 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated January 15, 2019 of the 12th Politburo on improving the efficiency of management, exploitation, use and promotion of economic resources... Delegates also listened to reports and gave opinions on the sale of assets attached to land to organizations assigned land to implement the project of New Urban Area, Central Walking Street of Thai Nguyen City.

Speaking at the Conference, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Secretaries of the affiliated Party Committees to seriously study, thoroughly grasp and deploy the contents to the entire Party Committee in a timely and effective manner.
