Specifically, heavy rain caused landslides on National Highway 16 from Km300 to Km309 at 10 locations, with the volume of rock and soil reaching tens of thousands of cubic meters. Particularly serious were two locations at Km306+550 and Km306+850, in Xoi Voi village, Nhon Mai commune. Here, the negative slope was eroded, cutting off the road with a length of about 100m and 70m, completely cutting off the road, making it impossible for vehicles to travel.
