At the training course, delegates listened to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Oanh - Senior Lecturer, Academy of Journalism and Information Communication, convey some contents about: Learning about the press, relations with the press, documents related to press statements and spokespersons, rights and responsibilities of spokespersons, speaking skills and providing information to the press, communication and information processing, skills in handling media crises...

Thereby, officials, civil servants, and spokespersons of agencies, units, and localities will have more knowledge and skills to perform well in speaking, providing information to the press, and handling media crises.

It is known that in the past time, the work of speaking, providing information to the press and handling media crises has been focused on and implemented by agencies, units and localities. In 2023, agencies, units and localities promptly checked and handled 93/100 contents reflected in the press and social networks about the province, sent written responses to the Department of Information and Communications to inform press agencies and post on the provincial electronic information portal. Thereby, contributing to orienting information to prevent media crises, ensuring political security, order and social safety in the province.

In addition, the spokespersons and authorized spokespersons of agencies, units and localities have properly exercised their rights and responsibilities as prescribed in Decree No. 09/2017/ND-CP dated February 9, 2017 of the Government detailing the speaking and providing information to the press of State administrative agencies...
