Khanh Hoa: Social housing projects are prioritized for accelerated development.

(NLĐO) - Khanh Hoa accelerates the implementation of the Government's 1 million social housing project by approving the detailed planning project at a scale of 1/500 for the Hung Phu II social housing project.

On June 9th, according to the Office of the People's Committee of Nha Trang City ( Khanh Hoa ), the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nha Trang City issued a decision approving the detailed planning project using the simplified procedure (scale 1/500) for the Hung Phu II Social Housing Project in Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City.

According to the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province, the Hung Phu II social housing project is on the list of projects under the plan to invest in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period 2021-2030.

According to the plan, Khanh Hoa province must build at least 7,800 social housing units. To date, in the 2021-2025 period, Khanh Hoa has basically completed the target according to the allocation plan, corresponding to 3,364 out of 3,400 units (achieving 98.9% of the plan).

During the period 2025-2030, Khanh Hoa needs to complete more than 4,400 social housing units. To achieve this target, in the following years, Khanh Hoa needs to complete 650-680 units per year.

The approval of the 1/500 scale plan for the aforementioned social housing project will contribute to Khánh Hòa's early completion of the social housing target, in line with the government 's policy of 1 million social housing units.

The Hung Phu II social housing project covers an area of ​​6,895m2, bordering Dang Lo road (14m wide) in Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city. The project consists of 30 above-ground floors and one basement floor, with approximately 1,062 apartments and a population capacity of about 2,335 people.

In addition to social housing and commercial apartments, the project also includes a daycare center, community center, parking lot, swimming pool, green spaces, and technical infrastructure.

The Hung Phu II social housing project is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2025 and be completed in 2027.

To develop social housing, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province recently announced that it will auction off an additional 8 land plots (7 in Nha Trang City and 1 in Cam Ranh City) with a total area of ​​over 185,000m2 in 2025 to select investors to implement social housing projects.

Specifically, the land plots designated for social housing in Nha Trang City include: a social housing area of ​​nearly 60,000 m2 for police officers and soldiers in Vinh Thai commune, Nha Trang City; a land plot of over 13,000 m2 at No. 10 Truong Son Street, Vinh Nguyen ward, Nha Trang City; and a land plot of over 5,100 m2 on Dien Bien Phu Street, Vinh Hoa ward, Nha Trang City.

The Vĩnh Hải social housing project covers an area of ​​over 16,200m2 in the Trại Gà area, on Đào Văn Tiến street, Vĩnh Hải ward, Nha Trang city.

The CT-01 social housing area (over 10,300 m2), the CT-02 social housing area (over 20,000 m2), and the CT-04 social housing area (over 14,500 m2) are all located within the An Binh Tan urban area, Nha Trang City.
