On September 23, the Nha Trang Bay Management Board (Khanh Hoa province) issued a notice on the implementation of entrance fees for scenic spots in Nha Trang Bay. Accordingly, entrance fees will be collected at four locations: Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, Phu Quy Inland Waterway Wharf, the Oceanographic Institute Inland Waterway Wharf, and Ana Marina International Yacht Park. The fee collection area covers the sea and islands within the boundaries of Nha Trang Bay, excluding strictly protected zones as defined by the functional zoning of the Nha Trang Bay Marine Reserve.

The fees are divided into 6 routes with different prices. Specifically, Route 1 to Hon Mieu Island (Tri Nguyen) costs 6,000 VND/person/trip. The three routes to Hon Tam, Hon Tre, and Hon Mot islands all cost 8,000 VND/person/trip. Route 5 to Hon Mun Island costs 10,000 VND/person/trip. The combined route (for tourists visiting multiple islands) costs 40,000 VND/person/trip.

The Nha Trang Bay Management Board will directly organize ticket sales and fee collection at the piers under its management, and will also support fee collection in the initial phase at some piers managed by businesses, such as the piers of Ana Marina Nha Trang JSC and the Institute of Oceanography.

At ports and wharves managed by Vinpearl Joint Stock Company - Nha Trang Branch, the company will collect entrance fees for Nha Trang Bay scenic spots on behalf of the company after a regulation on the coordination of collection, payment, management, and use of these fees is established.

For Nha Trang Tourist Wharf and Phu Quy Inland Waterway Wharf (owned by Nha Trang Bay Management Board), the website system has integrated payment of inland waterway wharf usage fees (3,000 VND/person/trip) along with entrance fees to facilitate organizations and individuals and reduce procedures.

Payment is made online via the official website https://muavedulichnhatrang.com.vn. After successful payment, the system automatically sends the ticket code (QR code), electronic invoice, and electronic receipt to the registered email address for visitors to present at the pier or control point.

The fee is calculated based on the number of passengers traveling from the inland waterway terminal to the island for sightseeing, not based on the number of days a visitor stays.

Regarding free admission, the regulations apply to children under 6 years old, people with disabilities, citizens residing in Khanh Hoa, people with meritorious service to the revolution, and senior citizens aged 60 and above. Those eligible for a 50% discount include children aged 6-16, students and pupils on school-organized tours, and impoverished households.
