The inscription "Ô Tà Sóc" was unveiled on Ngọa Long Sơn mountain.

On September 1st, the People's Committee of O Lam commune (An Giang province) held a ceremony to inaugurate the "O Ta Soc" inscription on Ngoa Long Son (Dai Mountain) to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2nd, 1945 - September 2nd, 2025), and to welcome the successful conclusion of the First Congress of the O Lam Commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Delegates offered incense at the O Ta Soc relief and the monument honoring the 1st Division of the South Vietnam Liberation Army.

Former Standing Committee member and former Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Tiec Hung; and former Secretary of the Tri Ton District Party Committee, Cao Quang Liem, attended the event.

The "Ô Tà Sóc" sign, built in the Đá Chài beach area, is nearly 26 meters long; each letter is 5 meters high, 4 meters wide, and the stroke width is 90 centimeters. The total construction cost exceeded 1 billion VND, funded by Antraco Joint Venture Company Limited, which was mobilized by former Tri Tôn District Party Secretary Cao Quang Liêm; Khánh Chúc Company Limited (Tri Tôn commune) carried out the construction and provided partial funding.

According to Phan Thanh Luong, Chairman of the People's Committee of O Lam commune, the project holds special significance for O Lam commune. It serves as a check-in point, promoting the image, people, and revolutionary base area of ​​O Ta Soc, a national-level historical revolutionary site, and creating a highlight for local tourism .

The project also aims to honor the soldiers who sacrificed their lives, leaving behind parts of their bodies in the O Ta Soc resistance base area. At the same time, it educates today's young generation to cherish peace and independence; and to contribute their intellect and efforts to building and protecting the homeland.
