Hai An District: Inauguration of the project to renovate and upgrade Lung Bac Street, Dang Hai Ward

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the evening of March 6, the People's Committee of Hai An district held the inauguration ceremony of the project to renovate and upgrade Lung Bac street, Dang Hai ward and installed a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Cat Bi Victory Day (March 7, 1954 - March 7, 2024). Attending the inauguration ceremony were Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Duc Tho; representatives of the leaders of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; and leaders of Hai An district.

Delegates attended the inauguration ceremony of the Lung Bac road renovation and upgrade project.

The project to renovate and upgrade Lung Bac Street, Dang Hai Ward was decided on investment policy by Hai An District People's Council and Hai An District People's Committee approved the Technical Economic Report in Decision No. 1288/QD-UBND dated May 22, 2023. Investment scale, road length L = 792.0m; road surface width Bsurface = 7.0m (including grooves), slope i = 2%; both sides of the road are paved with Terrazzo tiles 1.55m wide (including curbs); installation of D1000 culvert, D400 and D800 cross-culverts; painting road markings, installing traffic signs... with a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND.

Delegates performed the ceremony of attaching a plaque to the project to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Cat Bi Victory.

Started at the end of August 2023, after more than 4 months of construction, the project to renovate and upgrade Lung Bac road has been completed according to the plan, ensuring quality, technique, aesthetics and meeting the conditions for putting into use. Contributing to serving the travel needs of the people of Dong Hai 2 and Dang Hai wards, as well as people in neighboring areas. The project is also identified by Hai An district as one of the key construction projects to inaugurate to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the historic Cat Bi Victory Day.

Completed and put into operation, the project contributes to serving the travel needs of local people.
