Inauguration of the Chăm Pộng village spillway.

On March 9th, Giao Thong Newspaper, in coordination with the People's Committee of Muong La district, held the inauguration ceremony for the Cham Pong village spillway in Ngoc Chien commune. Attending the ceremony was Comrade Truong Quang Nghia, former member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Minister of Transport, and former Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.

The Chăm Pộng village spillway project commenced construction in November 2023, with a total value of over 1.4 billion VND, funded by the "Joining Hands for Traffic Safety Program" of Giao Thong Newspaper and contributions of labor and materials from the local people of Chăm Pộng village. The structure is designed as a permanent structure made of reinforced concrete, measuring 2.8m in length and 3m in width.

After more than 3 months of construction, the project was completed, serving the transportation and trade needs of over 200 households in the two villages of Cham Pong and Nam Nghep; at the same time, it contributes to connecting the Nam Nghep tourist destination with Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, facilitating trade, promoting tourism, attracting investment, and developing the local economy and society.
