Inauguration of Cham Pong spillway

On March 9, Giao thong Newspaper coordinated with Muong La District People's Committee to organize the inauguration ceremony of Cham Pong spillway, Ngoc Chien Commune. Attending the ceremony were comrade Truong Quang Nghia, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Minister of Transport, former Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee.

The Cham Pong spillway project started construction in November 2023, with a total value of over 1.4 billion VND, from the source of the "Joining hands for traffic safety program" of Giao thong Newspaper and the people of Cham Pong village contributed working days and local materials. The project is designed to be permanent with reinforced concrete with a length of 2.8m and a width of 3m.

After more than 3 months of construction, the project was completed to serve the travel and trade of over 200 households in Cham Pong and Nam Nghep villages; at the same time, it contributed to connecting Nam Nghep tourist destination with Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province, connecting trade, promoting tourism, attracting investment, and developing the local economy and society.
