Former Standing Committee member of the Hanoi City Party Committee and former Chairman of the Hanoi City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Hoang Trong Quyet, and Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee, Vu Thu Ha, attended the ceremony.
Over the past period, upholding President Ho Chi Minh's teachings and implementing the policies of the Central Government and Hanoi City, the Party Committee and government of Giang Vo ward have always identified education as one of the key tasks and an important foundation for contributing to the sustainable, civilized, and modern development of the locality.
The investment in building Giang Vo 2 Secondary School not only aims to meet the increasing educational needs of the local population and reduce the pressure of large class sizes, but also demonstrates the ward's determination to improve the overall quality of education, gradually building a modern, synchronized, and advanced learning environment that meets the requirements of educational reform in the current period.
Giang Vo 2 Junior High School was built on a plot of land larger than 5,420 square meters, with a spacious and modern infrastructure. Classrooms, functional rooms, and teaching equipment have been invested in a comprehensive manner, creating the best conditions for teaching and learning for teachers and students. It also clearly demonstrates the concern of the Party committee and local government for the cause of education.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward, Co Nhu Dung, affirmed that the selection of Giang Vo 2 Secondary School as a project to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth is an honor and source of pride for the Party Committee, government, and people of Giang Vo Ward; and also a source of pride for the school's staff, teachers, and students.
This is not only a recognition of its political and social significance, but also a motivation for the entire school to continue striving, affirming the quality of education, and building an exemplary and advanced pedagogical environment, worthy of the attention and expectations of the city and the local people.
“On this occasion, on behalf of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward, I request that the School Board and all teachers continue to uphold their sense of responsibility and dedication to the profession, innovate teaching methods, build a disciplined, humane, and creative educational environment; focus on moral education and life skills, and inspire students to learn and contribute. At the same time, effectively manage and utilize the invested facilities; maintain the building to be green, clean, beautiful, and safe; and maximize the value of the investment,” said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward hopes that the students will always be well-behaved, strive in their studies, cultivate their morals, nurture their dreams and aspirations, and become useful citizens for society, worthy of being the future generation of the country and the pride of their families, schools, and Giang Vo hometown.
