Optimize production process
In the space inside the factory, when the bustling production atmosphere temporarily calmed down to make room for breaks between shifts, we had the opportunity to chat with Deputy Director of Production Engineering Department, Textile Construction Company Limited (VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park) Nguyen Thi Thom, to hear her share about the working process and her passion for the profession.

Having worked for the company for more than 11 years, Ms. Thom remembers clearly the first days she joined the company. As a newcomer in the fiber industry, the company's leaders created conditions for her to learn and improve her skills. A few months later, Ms. Thom quickly caught up with the requirements and met the pace of work.
“I, as well as the workers and employees, always receive attention and encouragement from the company's leaders. Everyone is trained and guided in a systematic way to have professional skills, to best meet the requirements of the job. The working environment and corporate culture here are very good, so I am determined to stay long-term and strive to contribute to the overall development of the company," Ms. Thom expressed.
Thanks to the research efforts and support of colleagues, Ms. Thom came up with the initiative to optimize the spinning machine, find reasonable cotton distribution parameters at each stage, ensuring the output quality meets the standards. Thanks to that, the company saved about 750 tons of cotton in 2024. In addition, many of Ms. Thom's solutions were also highly appreciated by the company, contributing to improving product quality and reducing production costs.
Graduated from Danang University of Foreign Languages, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Trang worked at Dung Quat Technical College. From the 2019-2020 school year, Dung Quat College of Technology has benefited from 2 training programs transferred from the Federal Republic of Germany for 2 occupations: Mechanical equipment system maintenance and oil and gas processing equipment operation. Each program has a duration of nearly 7,000 hours and is distributed over 7 semesters (3.5 years).
At that time, Ms. Trang was assigned to be in charge of and monitor the Mechanical Equipment Maintenance class. To support the implementation of the work scientifically and effectively, Ms. Trang proposed and successfully applied the initiative "Research and develop a form for managing the teaching of the Mechanical Equipment Maintenance class according to the transfer program from the Federal Republic of Germany". The new point of the initiative is that the forms for monitoring and statistics of teaching hours are updated accordingly in each period. The forms for teaching plans and timetables applied to the class all have subject codes and teacher codes.
As Deputy Head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Ms. Trang has made positive and effective contributions to the management of the faculty as well as in directly performing professional work... New ways of doing professional work not only bring high efficiency in work, save time, but are also widely applied in the school.
