There are gifts that are kept not for their material value, but for the memories, for the giver, or simply because they feel warm. Every gift has a story andSHB believes that when giving a gift that carries the memory of the Fatherland, what is kept will be national pride, emotions and unforgettable attachment.

Gifts given, gratitude lingers forever

During the bustling days celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, people not only immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere, but also received special souvenirs, which symbolized solidarity and pride. Amidst the sea of red flags with yellow stars fluttering all over the streets, SHB's meaningful gifts of gratitude became simple but touched many people.

Ms. Thanh H. (27 years old, office worker in Hanoi ) is one of the lucky customers to receive a special gift from SHB. She shared that at first, going to the transaction branch was just a normal job and she never thought she would walk out with such a special gift, a gift not only to use but also to look back on.

“What a pleasant surprise! When the bank staff gave me a fan with beautiful colors and patterns representing historical relics from all over the country, I was really touched. In the hustle and bustle of life, we sometimes accidentally overlook sacred things. Holding that gift in my hand, I was reminded of my roots, my Fatherland and the sacred meaning of National Day,” Ms. H. recounted with bright eyes.

Not only happy to receive gifts, Ms. H. was especially impressed with the way SHB paid attention to elderly customers. Witnessing customers who are veterans, or those whose special birthdays coincide with the historic National Day of September 2, born in 1945 - the sacred milestone of the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, being given meaningful gifts, her heart was filled with indescribable emotions. To her, it was not simply a gratitude program, but also a beautiful gesture, demonstrating the sophistication and deep responsibility of a brand that knows how to respect the past and cherish traditional values.

At the age of 80, Ms. Trinh Thi Anh Lien, a daughter of the heroic homeland of Ha Tinh , is a special witness as she was born on the first National Day of the nation (September 2, 1945), receiving the gift with deep emotion. Ms. Trinh Thi Anh Lien shared: “I have gone through many years, witnessed the country change. It is a small gift but it makes me very touched, appreciated, and makes me see the bank more closely connected to the people. I will keep it as a souvenir of this occasion.”

Also turning 80, Mr. Vu Duc Hao (Hanoi) could not hide his emotion when receiving a gift on his special birthday at home. He confided that, being born in a period when the country was still facing many difficulties, having gone through many historical ups and downs to get to where it is today, this gift is even more meaningful. He expressed his hope that the next generation will continue to build and continue what the previous generation has built.

According to consumer behavior research experts, when gifts are associated with important national holidays or carry a message of love for the homeland and country, it goes beyond the usual meaning of "giving to remember". It is a way for businesses to affirm their companionship and share the national spirit with customers. The recipient will feel more respected, more attached and proud to be a part of the community that the brand is building.

Cultivating love for the Fatherland - "Happiness is being Vietnamese"

Behind the simple but emotional gifts is a big message that SHB wants to convey through the campaign "Happiness is Vietnamese" launched since the beginning of August.

This is not only a gratitude activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, but also a journey to connect traditional values, evoking national pride in each customer to look towards the future. Within the framework of the campaign, SHB has created 40,000 gifts imbued with Vietnamese identity by To He, a social enterprise famous for its handmade products, design and production.

In particular, unlike purely symbolic souvenirs, each gift SHB chooses is associated with a familiar image in Vietnamese life. For example, a hand-held fan not only helps dispel the summer heat but also evokes a rustic traditional culture. It reminds us of the image of a grandmother or mother fanning her children and grandchildren on a hot summer afternoon, a memory filled with love and protection.

Similarly, a hat or scarf is not only an item to protect daily health, but also carries a message of companionship and care that SHB gives to customers on every journey. A handbag suggests a new journey, symbolizing movement and development so that each customer carries not only practical items, but also the pride of accompanying a Vietnamese brand.

In addition, in addition to being useful, each gift is also printed with historical symbols, from Ben Thanh Market, Ngo Mon Gate, Hanoi Flag Tower to Doc Lap Street, bronze drum motifs... These are not only familiar images, but also sacred marks, closely associated with the collective memory of the Vietnamese people. Through this, love for the homeland will quickly spread, helping each person get closer to the land of their birth, thereby knowing how to appreciate and cherish the gift more.

Minh Thu (28 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) could not help but share: “Wearing the scarf on my shoulder, I suddenly stopped when I saw the image of Ben Thanh market clearly printed on the fabric. It is not only an architectural work, but also my childhood memories, the times I followed my mother to the market, listening to the bustling hawkers, smelling the scent of fruits and food everywhere. Suddenly, the gift became much more precious than its material value. I cherished and treasured it, because it not only contained an everyday item, but also a part of my homeland, a piece of dear memory that SHB had cleverly conveyed.”

SHB representative said that beyond the framework of a normal gratitude program, the campaign “Happiness is Vietnamese” is a deep gratitude, showing the companionship with the community in the journey of preserving and nurturing love for the homeland and country. With the philosophy that spiritual values are the strongest bond, each gift SHB gives not only brings unexpected joy, but also a proud reminder of common memories, cultural heritage and national spirit.

In addition to gift-giving activities through transactions and check-ins at photobooths, the campaign is also strongly expanded on the online platform with many attractive forms. Participants can create their own personal style shirts on the microsite, relive memories through old and new photos at historical sites, listen to the "Memories" video series of historical witnesses, or freely create with Capcut videos and AR filter effects on TikTok...

These activities quickly attracted a large number of people, especially young people, creating a wave of national pride spreading across the digital space. At the same time, SHB was also present on parade routes, marching with "Patriotic Support Stations", joining in the exciting rhythm and revolutionary spirit of tens of thousands of people across the country.

Through this, SHB affirms its position as a pioneering bank that constantly understands and shares, choosing national values as a solid foundation to build a prosperous future with the Vietnamese people. Because for SHB, the greatest pride is to contribute to cultivating the "Happiness of being Vietnamese"./.
