By 4:00 p.m. on August 29, the unit had cleared tens of thousands of cubic meters of soil, rocks, ditch sediment, and road surface sediment, and vehicles have reached the center of Bat Mot Commune People's Committee, no longer separated.

Previously, prolonged heavy rains caused National Highway 47, the vital route connecting the lowlands with the border commune of Bat Mot, to be cut off by serious landslides in many locations. The section from Yen Nhan commune to Bat Mot, more than 15km long, had dozens of deep flooding spots, thick mud, and traffic was paralyzed. On the night of August 28, the road management unit mobilized human resources and vehicles to make efforts to clear the road.
