Construction begins on 3 projects serving the high-speed railway project.

On the morning of May 27th, the Management Board of Khanh Hoa Province Development Projects held a groundbreaking ceremony for three projects under Component Project 1 on compensation, support, and resettlement for the North-South High-Speed ​​Railway Project passing through the province.

In Tan Dinh commune, the Provincial Development Project Management Board commenced construction of the Tan Dinh Resettlement Area and the Quang Trung Secondary School.

The Tan Dinh resettlement area covers more than 4.6 hectares; bordered to the north by an existing concrete road, to the south by Pho Hoa Pagoda and an existing residential area, to the west by the National Highway 26 bypass, and to the east by an existing residential area; the total investment is over 43.1 billion VND. Upon completion, the resettlement area will provide 114 resettlement plots, serving to resettle households from Tan Dinh and Nam Ninh Hoa communes.

The Quang Trung Secondary School project was constructed on an area of ​​over 9,500m², with a contract value of over 59.7 billion VND (including construction and equipment procurement).

On the same day, the Provincial Development Project Management Board held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Vong Trac Tre Resettlement Area (Van Ninh commune) - phase 2. The resettlement area covers approximately 5 hectares and, upon completion, will provide 84 resettlement plots to serve the resettlement of households in the two communes of Van Ninh and Van Thang.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Director of the Provincial Development Project Management Board, stated that the Board was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be the investor for Component Project 1, which involves compensation, support, and resettlement for the North-South High-Speed ​​Railway Project passing through the province. Component Project 1 spans 10 communes and wards: Dai Lan, Tu Bong, Van Thang, Van Ninh, Van Hung, Bac Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Ninh Hoa, Tan Dinh, and Nam Ninh Hoa, with a total length of approximately 66.16 km. The total investment for Component Project 1 is nearly 2,296 billion VND, of which construction costs exceed 229.7 billion VND.

Construction is ready for the Vong Trac Tre Resettlement Area - Phase 2 project.

To expedite progress, the Management Board has developed a comprehensive plan outlining the project's implementation steps; coordinated with the consulting unit to prepare the feasibility study report; and collaborated with the Land Development Fund Branch in Ninh Hoa and Van Ninh to conduct on-site surveys of the route and resettlement areas, identifying locations for the construction and compensation of affected organizations. Currently, the progress of Component Project 1 meets the set requirements. Specifically, the three construction projects that commenced on May 27th will be completed in 2026, meeting the resettlement needs of affected households.
